From a fascination with beasts in Greek mythology and their complex relationship with man as portrayed throughout the history of art. Feared, worshipped or sacrificed, these mythical creatures reflected the culture of the society and the sentiments of the era. They represent the ideology and the higher thinking of the human mind. Using shades of grey that appear to recall colours of classic Greek sculptures and yarns including wool, silk mohair, viscose, lurex and nylon. The collection evolved in an organic way, developing into a fantastic bestiary that explores the symbolism of primitivism, sacrifice, innocence, admiration, strength, cruelty and love between two supreme beings.
