This collection is about taking traditional elements and making them contemporary. A single clean silhouette was purposely selected to keep the focus on the exploration of embroidery. Using an antique needle sampler as the main inspiration, the reverse looks like an artistic drawing and the outfits bear the quality of paintings or rough sketches. Embroidery that evokes emotions, to pay tribute to the quality of human handicraft, contrasting it with the clean silhouette and juxtaposing glamour and comfort.
