Reminiscing of childhood family trips to the seaside. Hiroki was suffered from a type of eczema that stopped him from going into the ocean.
It was the first time he felt different from others.
The ocean became symbolic of a place where you yearn to go to, but cannot.
These surreal footwear pieces assume a mix of autobiographical reference and are a tribute to similar people, trapped in a mysterious world that hinders them from doing what they love.
